Westmont Endowment Fund is a permanent, community-supported investment fund dedicated to preserving and enhancing the character, beauty, and vitality of Old Westmont.

Each year, up to 4.5% of the fund may be made available for projects that benefit the community, while the principal continues to grow for future generations. The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies has offered the Westmont Endowment Fund a $25,000 Small Town Challenge Match. Every dollar contributed toward the first $25,000 raised will be matched dollar for dollar. A $100 gift becomes $200, and a $1,000 gift becomes $2,000.

In 2026, Westmont Borough Councilman and WEF founding member Tim McIlwain launched the Match the Match Campaign, a community-wide effort to multiply the impact of CFA’s match by fundraising fivefold.
